Another weekend of yard sale-ing is complete. This weekend I went out with a new focus. I’ve been coming home with a lot of stuff this summer, but too much of it is hanging around our house. This weekend my goal was 25% stuff to keep, 75% stuff to re-sell. And if that means we don’t buy much, well, half the fun is the hunt anyway, right?
Consisted mostly of books. I know they aren’t wonderful sellers on eBay unless you have really big lots, but I can’t seem to help myself. What can I say, I love books. Ranged in price from 10 cents to 50 cents.
|Rolling backpack was $1 and is for my son.|
|$1, to replace the pool we had that cracked.|
|Felt board Thomas $3. Will sell when my son is tired of playing with it/forgets about it.|
I grabbed the Exersaucer below as an afterthought at one of the last yard sales I was at. $5. A few of the toys/attachments are really cute, a couple look pretty worn. Should be easy to recoup my money on it regardless. Although, it has occurred to me that if my first thought is, “How/where am I going to be able to hide this from my husband?” worrying that at some point he may finally get annoyed by all of the “stuff” invading our home then maybe, just maybe, I shouldn’t be buying it at all. (In case you’re curious – it is currently residing in the baby’s room, and my husband has yet to comment on it.)
|DVDs – 6 for $5 total (most to resell, one or two to keep).
Books were between 25 and 50 cents each.
|This jacket I got at the same yard sale. It is a Columbia Interchange 2 in 1.
Cost $2. Terrible picture but a really nice coat.
|And, of course, I had to come home with something for the 3-year-old.
Today it was Bob the Builder silverware and a game.
