This is a fun brand, that can sell for a nice chunk of change.

Vacation and my lack of consistent listing has taken its toll on my sales (they’re definitely down), but here are a few of my better or faster flips from the last week or so.
Paid: $2 @ VV, Sold on sale: $29.71 (listed since Feb, 2018)
I have heard of people getting offers higher than their listed price, but I think this may have been the first time it happened to me. I had the shirts below listed for $34.95 OBO.
I have sold a number of different vintage versions of Memory.
Have any good flips recently? I’d love to hear about them!
Here are some of my favorite sales of the past week.
I feel like I have to include clothing in this list because it is something I sell regularly, although it’s not my *favorite* thing to sell. I thought this jacket was really cute though, great for spring or Easter.
Build a Bear can still be one of my weaknesses. I love picking up the outfits, but they’re often not worth the amount of time I put into listing them. This is probably my best BABW sale recently.
I was super excited about these when I picked them up! I couldn’t believe someone was selling their P&P collection, obviously some effort was spent in collecting them and all the books looked/felt new. I knew it wouldn’t be a super fast flip, but I hope the person who receives them loves them!
Costumes sell all year long!
This sale is most notable because someone from Germany purchased it. I shipped it directly to him, not via GSP, but shipping was still pretty spendy.
The last two items I listed two days ago, and both sold within hours!
And the frog below currently has a 100% sell-through rate, which is kinda crazy. I listed it Wed night, it had sold by Thurs morning. Check out completeds here.
I’d love to hear about your favorite sale(s) of the week!
I reached my 2000th feedback over the weekend! Kinda fun. ( 2000)
I am nowhere near reaching my listing goal for the month, but I’ve picked up a BUNCH of treasures over the last couple weeks at two consignment sales and a MOPS rummage sale. I’m hoping to get them all listed by the end of the month.
Last week was the JBF sale. I didn’t consign, but I did shop both the first day of the sale and the half off day. I found a decent number of items, including a bunch of loveys to flip, and a balance bike for my youngest.
Last week was the sale I did consign at. I took a bunch of my own kids’ old clothes, and some eBay rejects. I priced everything super cheap, and marked them to be reduced as the sale went on. I sold 2/3 of what I took, which is pretty good around here. Consignment sales are still a new-ish thing in this area, and aren’t the crazy feeding frenzy they are other places.
I shopped the presale BUT – horror of horrors – forgot my phone at home. Ugh! I had taken it downstairs with me to take a picture of this HUGE monkey that I had sold.
I have a friend who sells Arbonne and she brings me boxes for shipping. I thought she would get a kick out of what I had shipped in one of her boxes. And she did. But, unfortunately I left my phone downstairs, and because it wasn’t sitting on the counter by my keys I didn’t realize I had left home without it until it was too late. So, I was much more cautious with my purchases than I would have been had I been able to look things up. Biggest disappointment was that I left behind this Cranky set. It was $15 for a used set. Coulda shoulda woulda.
I also had an interesting CL sale this week. I had picked up these used Buzz Lightyear wearable wings at Value Village a couple months ago. (Check out Amazon’s current listing!)
I had intended to sell them on eBay, but I could only get them to work sporadically. I changed the batteries which didn’t fix the problem, and that was about the extent of my DIY fixing abilities. So, rather than sell it on eBay and risk an unhappy buyer, I listed them on CL in hopes of recooping my initial investment. And I did have a guy contact me to buy them, and when I met with him he explained to me that he wasn’t really worried about whether or not they worked consistently. Because . . . he and his two grown sons are trying to make it into the Guinness Book of World Records for having the largest collection of Buzz Lightyear toys. He was happy to add this one to his collection.
You never know what you’ll hear in the reselling biz.
I think Blogelina is great, and they are making over 1000 “mommy blogs” for just $10 (all money is being donated cure.org). If you’re interested you can find more info HERE. I used Blogelina for my blog transfer, and also went through their online blogging class a couple months ago. I’ve found them to be very knowledgeable and a great resource.
Also, I’ve *finally* joined Twitter! Name: SheThrifts

Brand new accounts. Time will tell how much I use them, but I figured it was past time that I finally jump onboard.
I’ve done very little thrifting since the start of the new year, and I’ve become very selective about the things I do pick up. I’ve got tons of decent but not especially high-profit items waiting around to be listed. I don’t need any more of those.
On my most recent trip to Value Village I put a bunch of things in my cart, looked them all up, and put almost all of them back on the shelf from which they came. One of the only exceptions was the Dr. Bunsen Honeydew plush below. Check out completeds HERE.
