I am guessing this game just hit the radar of a bunch of eBayers because it was recently mentioned on an episode of The Big Bang Theory. Sheldon refers to it as the longest board game ever (as in, it can take a couple months to play) AND that he purchased his copy on eBay. So of course I had to look it up. And yes, it’s a thing! A rare one at that. Check out completeds HERE.
I tend to be really picky with the clothing I will buy to resell, and probably stick with NWT items about 75% of the time. Vince, however, is a brand for which I will make an exception. I picked up this very basic looking Vince shirt a couple weeks ago. It shows normal wear from past wash, but still sold pretty quickly for a decent price.
Some Vince items can fetch a really high price! Check out completeds HERE.
Here’s something that will make you stand out in a crowd! Loudmouth golf pants can be fairly easy to spot, and seem to consistently sell well. Check out completeds HERE.
A friend and I were reminiscing recently about the lovely plastic charms from the 80s. (She is a second grade teacher and one of her students came to school wearing her mom’s charms.) She was saying with regret that she no longer had her charms, but I was happy to report that I still have mine! They are one of the only toys I have saved from my own childhood, and I won’t part with them. But, of course I was curious what they might fetch on eBay. Check out completeds HERE! I will certainly be keeping an eye out this summer at yard sales in case anyone else is ready to part with a piece of their childhood.
Aren’t they beautifully ugly?!
I’ve heard about Dam trolls from other eBayers, so they are a BOLO that has been in the back of my mind for years. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago as I continued on my quest to get all of my backlogged inventory listed. I found the two trolls above in a tote filled with plush. As I was photographing them I found the Dam marking on the back of both of their necks. Yay!
These trolls are pretty big, both measure 14″ tall and are jointed. I wasn’t exactly sure what they were worth, so I decided to list them at auction. I started the bidding at $49.95, and they ended up selling for $59 + shipping. Since they had literally been hanging out in a tote for several years (I know!) I was happy with that.
BUT – some can sell for a lot more! Check out completeds HERE.
Here’s a brand that I have yet to find in the wild, but is at the top of my BOLO list. As I type, there are 146 active listings and 373 sold. That’s an awesome sell-through rate! Check out INKnBURN completeds HERE.
Ibex is a brand I wish I came across more ~ I am always really happy when I do! Both of the items below were used, but still sold quickly and with a nice return.
Ibex Brown Jacket
Paid: $2 @ VV, Sold: $39.95 + shipping (same week as listed)
Sale prices can go even higher. Check out some COMPLETEDS HERE.
So, I was going through a box of old, neglected inventory a couple weeks ago and came across a plush school bus. While doing a bit of research I discovered that Liz, the Lizard from the Magic School Bus, can be a good flip. Check out completeds HERE.
I didn’t find much info on generic looking plush school buses in my research. I honestly have no idea how long I have had it, or how much I paid for it, so I listed it for $14.95, hoping for a quick flip. And quick it was – it sold the same afternoon I listed it.
Which actually jogged a distant memory. I have listed a school bus or two in the past, and they have all actually sold quickly. In fact, I remember one of the buyers e-mailing me asking if I had any other school bus items because he was a collector. And the buyer of the plush above had “schoolbus” as part of their eBay ID, leading me to believe they are also a fan or a collector of school buses. I’m not saying I would buy everything having to do with school buses, but I’d certainly at least give them a second look. Like some of these TOYS. And you can even sell REAL SCHOOL BUSES on eBay. Of course!
This one is on my own personal BOLO bucket list.
I have yet to find one yet, but boy do I want to! Check out completeds HERE.
There seem to be two different versions of the Munchkin Mozart Magic Cube. My best guess is that the version above is the older style. It seems to be more rare, which means it generally sells for more on eBay.
I found the above cube at a thrift a few weeks ago. And I left it behind!! I was being super picky with what I bought because I knew the store was having a 50% off *everything* sale a couple days later (the first of its kind as far as I know, usually this particular store only does 50% off clothes/bed/bath). So there were several things I had been eyeballing that I was hoping would still be there when the sale rolled around. Luckily, the toy was still there, and this time I looked it up, and quickly put it in my cart!
It sold two days after I listed it, and the buyer actually messaged me hoping I had more of them I could also sell him. (I wish I did!) Even the used ones of this style seem to sell consistently. Happy hunting!
