I made my usual Monday morning trek to Value Village after dropping my oldest off at preschool today. I stopped just inside the entrance to look at a rack of costumes. The normal Monday morning gal was helping a customer, and when she was done she turned to me.
Her: Did you get my phone message?
Me: Uhhhhhhh – what?
I see her every Monday morning, she’s very nice, and has even gone out of her way to try and learn the names of my boys. But I could not think of a single reason why she would call me.
Turns out, the last time I was in VV I had returned an item and she forgot to take the returned amount off my total when I came back up to the register to pay. I never would have even realized. She took the returned amount off my total today instead.
I made my biggest sale to date yesterday morning. As in, this is physically the biggest item I have had to box up and ship.
|$59.95 – shipping|
He is over 3′ tall. I picked him up at a church rummage sale over the summer. I paid $15 total for Wile and a bunch of other stuff. I am sure I have made my $15 back in other sales, so I am considering this one all profit. Yay!
I know I have said this before, but I would seriously consider buying any Wile E Coyote or Roadrunner plush I come across. I sold a tiny Roadrunner for around $25 a few months back. And this Coyote sold in less than four hours after I had listed him. Not bad at all.
