New Quarter, New eBay Coupon!

October 1, 2016 by Kari @ She Thrifts 5 Comments

Should I confess that I only used last quarter’s coupon yesterday?  And that I ridiculously missed out on the first one altogether due to procrastination?  Well, it’s not happening this time!  I am looking forward to using my new coupon.

Yesterday I ordered (with Q3’s coupon) 100 8.5×10.75 air mailers and 25 12x10x8 boxes for a grand total of $49.97 (aka, free!).

What have you ordered in the past?  What are you planning to order this time?  I’d love to hear what works well, and what not so great.  I’ve heard, for example, that the tape isn’t the best.  True?

“Free” shipping supplies, hooray!  And Q4, hooray hooray! Bring on the busy season!

The tape isn’t awesome but that’s still what I get. I use regular cheap poly mailers for light things. Basically everything else uses the free USPS supplies so there isn’t much point in buying anything else. The tape is functional you just have to use more than normal tape. Since it’s the only one that I would use and it’s “free” I don’t mind using extra.

I’ve seen photos of packages where people have used the tape, and I like how it looks! I think I might order some with my next coupon just to try it out.

The tape is adequate. Better than $$store tape. I have used the small padded mailers and the larger poly mailers and both are great. I got boxes last time and they are not quite as thick as USPS boxes but they work for most items. I got two sizes that compare to the regional rate a and b and I have used them in place of regional rate for lighter items with no problems. I think I will try something new this time since I have plenty of tape, mailers and boxes. Maybe different sizes of things. Overall, it was free and it is delivered to my door and I didn’t have to scavenge anything…so it’s a big plus!!! Wish they had bubble wrap.

I would be on board with bubble wrap too! I ordered 100 bubble mailers, so that should last me a long time. I don’t use them all that often, but I am completely out and too cheap to actually buy them (I just reuse what I get in the mail or what people save for me). I am excited to get them! I use a lot of small boxes too and do order them from Amazon as needed, so I will probably use a chunk of my next coupon for more boxes of a different size. Now I am kicking myself for having waited so long to order them in the first place!

so the first time i ordered bubble envelopes but they sent poly envelopes. I will vouch that they have *amazing* customer service. The next time I bought more bubble envelopes. I haven’t even used all of the first batch so I think more poly mailers will happen. I’m gonna go use it now. I’m almost out! Thanks for the reminder!
