I’ve finally had a few sales worth reporting. I’m slowly getting my eBay listing rhythm back, and my sales are starting to pick up again.
I had just added Best Offer to this listing during my inventorying, but it still sold at full price.
Little Bear Plush
Paid: $2ish @ Value Village, Sold: $24.95 (listed since March, 2014)
I added Best Offer to this plush when I was inventorying, and got a decent offer a week or two later.
Steiff Golden Labrador Plush Paid: $0.50 @ ys,
Best Offer Accepted: $40.00 (listed since September, 2014)
I had this mug listed for forEVer. I think I picked it up the first summer I started eBaying, and I’m pretty sure I accepted a best offer on it at some point, and the buyer never paid. If I had gotten as far as the mugs when inventorying I would have dropped the price really low just to get rid of it. Out of the blue it sold at full price!
History Channel Black Mug
Paid: ? @ ys, Sold: $34.99 (listed since 2013?)
I also dropped the price on this while inventorying last month.
Pilot Bear In Airplane Plush Plays Carpenters Top of the World Song
Paid: $1ish? @ ys?, Sold: $49.95 (listed since June, 2014)
Stay tuned for my fifth favorite sale of the week, which I will be sharing as a BOLO on Sunday.
What was your favorite sale this week?
Great post! Gives me hope for the unique looking items I’ve picked up. You made some nice profits too!
So I was wondering why I wasn’t getting updates on your blog from my blog reader (I use CommaFeed). I’m glad someone posted your blog somewhere, as I would not have known you changed your site..my RSS feed doesn’t update. Glad I found it! 🙂
BTW, I ordered (requested) all the the titles you mentioned. I have been meaning to actually watch “The Fault In Our Stars”. I watched it last night, and OMGosh..my eyes are all swollen today and I have a big headache. I cried wayyy to much. I will still listen to the audio book (if I can). So sad!
I also finished listening to Panic by Lauren Oliver. And I really enjoyed it!

TFIOS is sad, but it’s funny too. And beautiful, in a heartbreaking way. I think the book has a lot more humor that the movie wasn’t really able to capture. I clearly remember one part at the end of the book where I was literally laughing and crying at the same time. I don’t think that has ever happened before.
I read Panic a few months back and liked it. I remember reading somewhere that a movie version of it is being fast-tracked. I can imagine it being a good movie. I have Lauren Oliver’s book Rooms in my to-read pile right. It’s a supernatural/ghosty book, which is usually not my thing, but I’ve gotten to the point that I will try anything she writes.
Sorry for the hassle with the RSS feed. Glad you were able to find the new location!
