Favorite (Three) Friday ~ January 30, 2015

January 31, 2015 by Kari @ She Thrifts 4 Comments

This is the I-need-peer-pressure-edition!  None of my “favorite” sales are overly noteworthy, because I’ve been doing no new listing.  I couldn’t even come up with five.

I ended up being out of town for a couple days this week (my dad was in the ICU with pneumonia, but he’s doing MUCH better now).  Is it just me?  Once I get out of my listing routine it can be hard to get back into it.  So I’m writing this post knowing I’ll have to report back next Friday, with the hopes that it will jumpstart my listing and lead to some better sales.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I’ve only picked up a handful of new items since the beginning of January, and the lovey below is one of them.  I bought it at the same time I bought the cow lovey I shared last week.  Those were the only two things I bought that day, and I turned the $7 purchase into $60.  Being on a strict budget is forcing me to shop smarter – not a bad thing!
I (paw) hugs bear lovey
Paid: $3 @ consignment store, Sold: $19.95 (11 days later)
Maternity clothes are still one of my bread and butter items – not huge profits, but I sell a few items every week.
Motherhood Maternity Green Pinstripe Pants
Paid: $2 @ consignment sale, Sold: $19.95 (listed since October)
Three Seasons of Entourage
Paid: $3 @ ys, Sold: $24.95 (listed since June)
Goals for the upcoming week: at least 35 new listings (an average of at least five per day), and that three of next week’s “favorite five” will be from those new listings.
    I agree. It is difficult to get back in the listing mode once you stop. I have to really challenge myself to get started again. Hope you dad is doing better.
    I agree, and I think for me it’s because when I’m not listing, I’m not selling as much, and then I get into a funk and don’t want to list. But, once I get back in the groove and start listing and selling more, I’m good to go. Glad to hear your Dad is doing better.
    I have to force myself to list when I buy the items. If its something Im not too excited about, it may take me a few days to list it. Hope your dad is doing better
