Blogger issues. I know, it looks like I’m shouting. For some reason this post is showing up in all caps, and I can’t figure out why. I’m trying to fix it. Argh.
Several of the packages I’ve sent out in the last month have gone to other towns in Oregon. I know it’s dorky, but I always find it a little exciting when my items are staying within my state. This morning I was busy packaging up the four items that had sold over the weekend when it happened . . . the mailing label popped up and I noticed that my item had sold to someone who lives just across town!
My town has 150,000+ people, so it’s not like it’s tiny.
Still kind of weird though.
My son is attending VBS every morning this week. Which means I had the chance to make my weekly Value Village excursion all by myself (well, just me and baby). But I didn’t. I skipped it altogether! I’ve got more than enough inventory. It was a good decision.
Today was a two-post-office-visit kinda day. I dropped off my items that sold over the weekend first thing this morning. By this afternoon I had sold FIVE more items! Interestingly, three of those items were the One Tree Hill, Grey’s Anatomy, and Dawson’s Creek DVD sets I picked up on Friday. They all sold within an hour of each other, to different people. Cha-ching, cha-ching, cha-ching! I paid $15 total for 11 box sets. Sold 10 of them this afternoon and have netted $60 profit on them so far.
And this evening I sold this book
(it’s going to be on my BOLO list from now on):
Sold: $24.99 – shipping
